Try Our Seasonal Apple Crisp Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Here at TB12, apples are one of our fall favorites, and we’re excited to bring you a recovery-boosting twist on a classic fall recipe. Our new Apple Crisp Smoothie Bowl! Blueberries and apple provide a splash of seasonal flavor, while our Vanilla Plant-Based Protein gives you the protein your body needs to rebuild and recover after a tough workout. Garnish your bowl with cinnamon, fresh sliced apple, and walnuts to really bring the fall flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 large apple, chopped (blend most; reserve a few small pieces for garnish). Peel before blending if desired.
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 scoop Vanilla TB12 Plant-Based Protein
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1/2 cup oat milk
Instructions
- Add blueberries, most of the chopped apple, cinnamon, protein, spinach, ice, and oat milk to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and thick. Adjust with additional oat milk for a looser texture if needed.
- Pour into a bowl and top with reserved apple pieces.
- Optional garnishes: a few dashes of cinnamon, fresh sliced apple, and walnuts.
Notes
For extra “crisp” vibes, add a sprinkle of granola or toasted oats. Swap oat milk for your preferred dairy-free milk if desired.
