Bought these at 30% off (~$76) as a replacement for my beloved-but-discontinued Banana Republic French Terry Jogger, which set an unfairly high bar. The Gamechanger isn't as thick or luxurious as the BR pair — the fabric is a nylon-spandex blend rather than heavyweight cotton french terry — but for the price and the intended use, they deliver.
Fit: True to size. Ordered 30x28 and got exactly that, which is a rare win for a short inseam. Relaxed through the thigh with a clean taper at the ankle. Reads more like tailored trousers than sweatpants when you're standing up.
Feel: Smooth, drapey, lightweight. Not the plush cotton hand you get from premium french terry — more of a technical performance feel. Comfortable at home, breathable enough for warm weather, and wrinkle-resistant enough that it won't look wrecked after a long flight.
Best use: Spring and summer travel, casual evenings, working from home when you might need to step out. Presentable enough to wear out of the house without looking like you gave up. Probably not the pair I'd reach for on a cold winter night on the couch — for that I'd still want proper heavyweight cotton — but as a warm-weather all-rounder, it earns its spot in the rotation.
Verdict: Not a spiritual replacement for premium french terry, but a legitimately good travel/lifestyle jogger at a fair price. If you need one pair to cover flights, errands, and low-key evenings without looking sloppy, this does the job.
