Journey 2 has arrived. Our new daily runner, designed for the roads, tracks, turfs, and sidewalks where your movement actually happens.
It's not a racing shoe. It's not engineered for one gait, one pace, or one type of athlete. It's the comfort-first daily running shoe built for your movement, your pace, and your journey.
Running Is Changing. So Are the Shoes That Go With It.
The line between training and running is getting blurry. Runners are spending more time in the gym. Lifters are logging miles outside. And a whole group of people who never called themselves runners are lacing up anyway. For stress relief. For community. For the simple satisfaction of moving.
And let’s be clear. Most runs aren’t about chasing a time. Sometimes it's about clearing your head. Sometimes it's a run that becomes a jog that becomes a walk. Sometimes the goal is just getting out the door. Journey 2 is built more for that reality than any speed or distance target.
"Journey 2 was never designed for a specific type of runner," says Casey Arnold, Director of Brand Marketing. "Our goal was to design one shoe that helps as many people as possible incorporate walking and running into their lives. Whoever you are, whatever your movement looks like, Journey 2 makes it more comfortable."
That's the idea behind Journey 2. Not elite performance. Not chasing pace. A NOBULLshit running shoe that goes wherever you go — and makes showing up feel even more worthwhile.

Comfortable. Supportive. Dependable.
Three words drove our approach to Journey 2. Here's what they actually mean on foot.
Comfortable
This shoe is all about the feel. From the plush engineered upper, to the soft internal bootie and EVA Strobel underfoot, we’ve combined elements that deliver a comfort-first solution for extended, everyday wear. No break-in required. Delivers from step one.
Supportive
The sculpted midsole cradles the foot, and raised sidewalls provide lateral support and lockdown through every stride and transition. A 6mm heel-to-toe drop promotes a natural stride without forcing it. And a TPU heel clip adds stability at the back. Whether you're running, walking, or anything in between, you’ll stay in control.
Dependable
Road, gravel, trail, turf — Journey 2 handles it all. Outsole rubber is strategically placed in high-abrasion and high-traction zones (with cutouts elsewhere to keep weight in check), and the overall build is designed to outlast.
"What we aimed for with this shoe was a versatile tool for your training arsenal," says Oliver Bentsen, Senior Product Line Manager. "If you're going out on asphalt, turf, trails, whatever — this shoe is robust enough to go out and get it done."
From Journey 1 to Journey 2: What We Heard Along the Way
Journey 1 was our first running shoe. And while it built a real following, it’s no secret that it had some room to grow. After all, our community made sure to let us know.
"Stupid and ugly. Looks and feels like trash."
"Made out of packing foam. Not comfortable and falls apart."
"Exposed styrofoam with a few rubber strips across the bottom."
Maybe bullying works. Maybe we’re just good listeners. Either way, we made some (big) changes.
"Journey 1 had great front-to-back geometry and a nice, responsive feel," says Oliver. "But it could feel a little unstable, the foam could feel harsh, and the upper didn't prioritize comfort. We took all of that onboard and focused on addressing every one of those complaints."
Here’s what’s new:
More stability. The midsole is more cupped and the heel-to-toe drop is slightly reduced, from 8mm to 6mm. Your foot sits deeper, with raised sidewalls providing lateral support and a locked-in feel underfoot.
Improved foam and midsole. The visible, crunchy foam is gone. The new CMEVA foam midsole is more comfortable, less harsh, and looks cleaner than ever.
More comfortable upper. The engineered knit is now built around comfort first. We paired it with a soft forefoot bootie that gives you a padded, secure fit right out of the box.
"Journey 1 also featured a nylon plate, for responsiveness and energy return," explains Oliver. "But the tradeoff wasn't always worth it. It changed the ride, made the shoe feel more specific to a certain kind of runner, and added harshness overall. Journey 2's plate-less design makes it softer, more approachable, and useful across a much wider range of paces and activities."
The result is a shoe that covers more ground. Literally and figuratively.

Who Journey 2 Was Built For
Honest answer? Damn near everyone.
It's for anyone who wants to move more. Walk more, jog more, get out more. Doesn't matter if you run five days a week or haven't done a mile since gym class. Journey 2 is built to make it all feel lighter, easier, and doable again tomorrow.
Journey 2 is a comfortable, dependable daily trainer, perfect for beginner runners. It's especially useful for newer runners, because you won't need to buy a new shoe for every surface or situation you want to get a taste of. The versatility of Journey 2 means no second-guessing, no complicated rotation — just a damn comfortable pair to help you get out there.
And for more experienced runners? It fills a role your highest-performing shoes can’t (or at least, shouldn’t). Most who are deep enough in the sport know the difference between a super trainer — your fastest, most technical race-day shoe — and a daily trainer built for easy miles, recovery runs, and the in-between days when the goal is just staying consistent. Journey 2 is that shoe. "Most runners don’t live in their highest-performing shoes," says Casey. "If you want something you can reach for every day and take your training anywhere — Journey 2 fits the bill."
It won't replace your super trainer. But it will make you want to leave it in the closet more often.
The NOBULL Bottom Line
Journey 2 is NOBULL's new daily running shoe. Comfortable from day one. Supportive for any pace. Dependable on any surface.
It's built for runs that turn into walks, movement that turns into something more, and for anyone who wants to get out there without wondering if their shoes can handle it.
Because running is optional. Showing up is mandatory.
