Elderberry is one of our favorite immune-boosting ingredients. Packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, it helps stimulate the immune system to fend off illnesses and infections. It also tastes great—add it to smoothies with fruits, leafy greens, or yogurt for an easy power-up.
Below is our refreshing smoothie with an elderberry base.
Ingredients (single serving)
- ½ cup elderberry juice (or ¼ cup elderberry concentrate)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tbsp almond butter
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- ½ banana
- 1 scoop Vanilla TB12 Plant-Based Protein
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy.
