Comfy, breathable, and versatile—almost perfect
I grabbed the Men’s Textured Knit Short (7") from Bull and it’s become a reach-for piece. The fabric has a subtle texture that breathes well in heat but still feels premium, and the stretch makes lunges and cycling comfortable. The 7" length lands right where I like—above the knee without feeling skimpy. The waistband lies flat and the drawcord actually stays tied. Pockets are deep enough for a phone; a secure zip pocket would make these a home run. Note: the knit favors training, travel, and errands; if you’re dragging a barbell, a sturdier woven short might be better. Fit is true to size. After several wears, no sagging or obvious pilling so far. I’d buy another color.
Pros: breathable knit, soft feel, good stretch, TTS fit, versatile style
Cons: no zip pocket, lighter colors may show sweat, not ideal for rough barbell work
